Their infectious smiles and cheerful attitudes bring a big smile to her face and make her laugh.

  • Dr.
    Richard Dickinson,
    Jr.

Dr. Richard Dickinson, Jr., or DJ as he’s known at the office, was born and raised in St. Albans. He attended St. Albans City Elementary School and Bellows Free Academy, St. Albans. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Dr. DJ worked as a product development engineer at Allegro Microsystems, Inc. in southern New Hampshire. Although he enjoyed the pace of new product development and working in the technology sector, dentistry offered a career that combined the sciences and participation in the well-being of others, and he graduated from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2009 with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD). After completing his residency at the UVM Medical Center he returned to St. Albans and joined his father and sister at Dickinson and Branon Dental Care. Dr. DJ feels very fortunate to be part of such a great group of professionals who work so well together and care about the long-term health of the community. When he’s not at the office he coaches for the Georgia Elementary Basketball and Little League teams as well as volunteers with the National Ski Patrol at Jay Peak Resort. He lives in Georgia with his wife Tasha and their three children.

Our Dental Hygienists

  • Jennifer P.

One of the most enjoyable parts of my work is forming relationships with people and helping them achieve and maintain their strongest oral health. As a dental hygienist, I provide preventive oral care in partnership with my patients. I educate patients about disease risk and treatment appropriate to their needs. I’ve been in the dental field and worked with Dr. Dickinson and this team since 2000. We have a very dedicated, caring, and knowledgeable group of people, all committed to providing the best possible care to our patients.

I live in St. Albans with my husband, two daughters, and our dog, cat, and two Mini Rex bunnies, Ruby and Buttercup. I spend most of my time outside of work volunteering and participating in my children’s activities. When I’ve time for myself, I like running, practicing yoga, reading, and quilting.

  • Sarah G.

I enjoy developing relationships with patients and how those evolve into friendships. I’ve been with this practice since 2002 and have, over the years, developed many valued friends. As a hygienist, I provide a range of preventive and maintenance care, along with patient education so people can take control of their smile’s health. I love that our doctors and my coworkers always have the best interest of our patients at heart and address all of their needs.

When I’m not working, my husband and I are kept busy with our three wonderful and active children. Most of our evenings and weekends involve their baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer, cross-country, skiing, or school events. Our family has the sweetest dog in the world, too: Maggie’s my running partner.

  • Sara M.

Our patients are a part of my family and I look forward to their visits as time with a friend. I clean teeth, examine patients for signs of gum disease, and provide a range of preventive and maintenance care. I also educate patients on ways to improve and maintain optimal oral health, and encourage each person to make positive changes. I have worked with this practice since 2003 and can’t imagine being anyplace else. We are a family!

I grew up in Texas and, in my second year of college, decided I wanted to move. I landed in Albany, New York, where I met my husband Toby. After completing hygiene school, we settled in Swanton, where he had grown up. We have two daughters and many animals, including a dog, a cat, a tortoise, and many fish. Most of our free time is spent at sporting events.

  • Sydney -

One of my favorite parts of being a hygienist is how much time I get to spend with my patients. I enjoy getting to know and meeting people within our community. I love hearing stories from my patients and I genuinely care about the ir overall health and well being. Being a dental hygienist gives me the opportunity to form connections and friendships.

Educating patients is something that I love to do. teaching someone the proper way to care for their oral health can make a big impact on their overall health. Making recommendations to my patients to help them achieve their optimal oral health goal is something that I love sharing. The ultimate success to me, is when I have patients that come back with a happy, healthy smile.

When I am not at the office, I enjoy skiing at Smuggs, hiking, cooking, reading, gardening (mostly succulents) and relaxing with my sweet pug.

  • Emily -

One of my favorite parts of being a hygienist is getting to know my patients and spending time with them. As a hygienist, I strive to help my patients understand the importance of their oral health and how it connects to their overall health. I love to see patients come back happy and excited about their oral health! It is important to me to see everyone have a happy, healthy smile.

When I am not working, I am spending time with my dog Rudy! We like to go on walks, go hiking and play outside as much as we can. I also enjoy skiing, buying new houseplants and spending time with friends.

Our Dental Assistants

  • Cassidy

I have been working at Dickinson and Branon for a few years now and I absolutely love it. I first found my passion for dentistry in high school and decided to enroll into VTC's Dental Hygiene school. Working for Dickinson and Branon has allowed me to jump start my career in my dream field while I work toward my goals.

In my free time I enjoy hunting, fishing and being outside. My favorite pastime is barrel racing with my ten horses - especially my Prize Winners, Hank and Honor. Equine work is something that requires constant dedication, discipline and perseverance - skills that I have been able to apply to my career with Dickinson and Branon.

  • Brooke

I like talking with my patients, seeing them commit to a treatment plan, and supporting them as they achieve their dental goals. Nothing makes me happier than helping a person love their smile! I am now an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, a position that allows me to help patients even more than before. I am excited to expand and grow in my career with support from the doctors at Dickinson and Branon Dental Care. I’ve been given great opportunities to continue my education and keep up to date on the latest dental technologies to help my patients.

I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and going on adventures with my boyfriend Matt.

  • Christine

I enjoy being part of the Dickinson and Branon Dental Care team. The work I do is highly rewarding. I support our Doctors and Hygienists in providing comprehensive dental care and education. From fillings and crowns, to shifting teeth/bites with Invisalign, dentistry is a fascinating mix of technology, art and continuous learning.

The first time I saw restorative work to reshape and fill front teeth, I was hooked! A beautiful transformation occurred right before my eyes, and our patient left smiling!

While caring for members of our community, from 2 to 92, I strive to provide a positive dental experience. It’s never too early to learn about dental health. It’s never too late to improve our overall health!

Away from the dental office, I love being outside with my husband: hiking, camping, gardening, skiing and snowshoeing, or curled up inside with the cat and dog on a rainy day.

  • Shania

I joined Dickinson and Branon Dental Care in 2020 and I’m so glad that I did! This office is great a place to work and I’ve made great friends here. My favorite part about dentistry is spending time with patients and witnessing their gratitude after each visit. My position is to assist the three Doctors with an array of procedures, which include restorations, extractions, implant procedures, orthodontic evaluations, and much more. I really enjoy having conversations with my patients and getting to know the community I now call home.

I’m originally from West Haven, Vermont, however, a couple of years ago I decided to move farther north. When I’m not working, I enjoy being outdoors, kayaking, traveling and spending time with my family and pets.

  • Nicole

I find so much happiness in being a dental assistant!  I enjoy connecting with my patients, helping to calm the nerves so many of us have, and seeing the happy and healthy smiles as patients find the right treatment are some of the most satisfying aspects of my job.  I truly enjoy watching smiles grow and develop with our Myobrace® and Healthy Start® appliances, and also seeing the beautiful transitions with Invisalign® clear aligners.  Knowing how much our dentists take pride in the care given to each and every patient makes coming to work easy, as I know I will be doing work I can be proud of.  Whether it's a restoration on a tooth, a tooth in need of a crown, or someone who needs their bite fixed - I am honored to be part of such a wonderful office here at Dickinson and Branon and provide care to our incredible patients.

My family moved to Highgate in the Summer of 2021. Outside of work I enjoy yoga, horseback riding, cooking, and snuggling my cats and dogs -- but nothing makes me happier than spending time with my husband, son, and daughter.

Our Front Office

  • Georgie
    Business Team Lead

I enjoy talking with patients and helping them feel at home in our office. When someone arrives with a smile, because they’ve been looking forward to seeing us, I’m thrilled! I am responsible for greeting and assisting patients as they arrive, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient accounts. I also help coordinate the dentists’ schedules and bill patients and insurance companies. My career in the field started in 2003 and I joined this amazing office in 2013. We are a family, with a strong work ethic, and we’re committed to providing the best dental care.

I grew up in Burlington, graduated from Burlington High School and Champlain College, and live in St. Albans with my husband and two children. In my free time, I enjoy watching my kids play sports, supporting their various activities, and being with family and friends.

  • Teri
    Business Team Associate

I like interacting with our patients, especially hearing the latest news and what’s happening with their families. I work in the front office where I help patients schedule appointments and work with them to navigate the intricacies of their insurance plans. I joined the doctors and team in 2012, when I brought with me more than 30 years of experience. This is a remarkable practice: We respect and really like each other, and we feel the same about our patients!

Outside of work, I love spending time with my three grandchildren. They like antiquing and exploring with me. I enjoy reading in my spare time: My new favorite author is David Baldacci.

  • Meredith
Director of Marketing and Patient Access

After years of working in marketing and customer service for a local television station, I moved to Dickinson and Branon Dental Care and I’m so glad I did! It’s energizing to walk into a place every day where the main focus is on helping our patients. My day consists of talking with patients, helping out at the front desk, and creating content for our website and Facebook page. I’ve learned a lot about the healthcare industry in the past few months. It’s an amazing time to be working in the dental field as we are now discovering how much our dental health is connected to our overall health and wellbeing. Away from the office, you can find me at home with my husband Mike and our two cats enjoying one of my many hobbies, or working with the light crew at Lyric Theatre.

  • Britney
    Business Team Associate

I have been working at Dickinson & Branon Dental Care since the beginning of my senior year of high school. Once I graduated and was able to expand my work time, I was blessed to receive a job in the front office. I am excited to continue my knowledge to better help patients in any way I can on the financial side of the dental industry. I love talking with patients both in person, and on the phone. I am able to help patients better understand what procedure they are coming in for and make them more comfortable before their appointments. I went to Center for Technology Essex where I earned my Cosmetology license. Before accepting a full time job at Dickinson & Branon, I worked at a salon. Outside of work I enjoy fishing, hunting, and sports and traveling with my boyfriend, Garret.

  • Janine
    Receptionist

I really enjoy being at the reception desk! Thirty years ago I worked in a dental office, before the time of computers. I'm happy greeting people and trying to help them. From here I see the office come together as a team, caring for each patient, and sometimes the family. My goal is to become very good at my position and be part of the wonderful Dickinson and Branon family. My husband and I have three older kids that were homeschooled. Now that they are more independent, I can finally join the workforce again.

  • Anna
    Business Team Associate

One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is interacting with patients. I started working at Dickinson and Branon in the summer of 2020. I work one on one with patients as the Invisalign® coordinator, to help them understand the process and the financial aspects. I also help schedule future appointments, work with insurance companies, and assist patients as needed.

Outside of work you can find me either by the lake, or at one of my daughter's sporting events. I live in Swanton with my husband and 2 of my 3 girls, along with our dogs, Bailey and Onyx. I enjoy being outside all year, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, and in the summer, biking, going for walks and watching the sunsent.

  • Mady
    Business Team Associate

I've been coming to Dickinson and Branon since I was 8 years old. I like my dentists and the staff here so much I jumped at the opportunity to start working here! I'm attending Community College of Vermont, majoring in business and working here is giving me experience for the future. When I'm not working I like to hunt, spend time with family and friends and go camping!
