Dr. Richard Dickinson graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1973, moved to St. Albans, and has spent more than five decades providing comprehensive and excellent dentistry to Northwest Vermont and Northeast New York patients.
A voracious and passionate learner, Dr. Dickinson takes great satisfaction in helping people achieve pain-free, healthy, and attractive smiles by using state-of the-art technology including digital scanning, Invisalign, and myofunctional therapy. He especially enjoys working with his daughter and son, Dr. Grace Dickinson Branon and Dr. Richard Dickinson, Jr. (Dr. DJ), and helping them carry forward his lifelong mission of serving his community with the dental field’s most innovative and effective techniques. Dr. Dickinson’s work has resulted in health gains far beyond aesthetics; patient after patient attests to improvement in quality of life due to his care.
Dr. Dickinson resides in St. Albans Town with his wife, Lynn, on their family farm, where he raises registered Angus beef (you might recognize him and his cows from his 2025 “Super Senior” feature on WCAX-TV). His oldest daughter, Lindsey, lives in the DC area with her husband, three sons, and daughter. Dr. Dickinson spent years on the Jay Peak Ski Patrol and is passionate about exercise and fitness as part of a healthy lifestyle.
