Dr. Grace Dickinson Branon

Dentist

Grace Dickinson Branon, DMD, is a native of St. Albans, Vermont, and co-owner of Dickinson Branon Dental, where she has provided comprehensive, patient-centered dental care for over two decades. Dr. Branon is widely respected for combining clinical excellence and intuitive care with a deep commitment to lifelong learning, community service, and leadership within the dental profession.

Dr. Branon, a lifelong Franklin County resident, earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Animal Science from the University of Vermont. Driven by a belief that exceptional patient care requires constant education, she has completed extensive advanced training in occlusion (residency at the Dawson Institute on Occlusal Studies), clear aligner therapy (Invisalign’s Align Therapy Institute), laser dentistry (College of Clinical Laser Dentistry at Las Vegas Institute), airway health (mini-residency with Dr. Ben Miraglia), pediatric sleep medicine (mini-residency with Tufts Dental School), and myofunctional treatment (Ortho-Tain for Healthy Start). Her commitment to constant education brings cutting-edge dental care to Northwest Vermont, through a holistic approach focused on long-term health, function, and prevention for patients of all ages.

Dr. Branon’s leadership extends well beyond the practice. She has served as President of the Vermont State Dental Society, chaired national and state dental committees, and represented Vermont as an ADA Delegate. She is a member of the International College of Dentists and remains actively involved in developing future dentists through Tufts University’s Northern New England Dental Student Mentorship Program.

Equally central to her work is community investment. Dr. Branon is the founder of the Small Town Big Smiles program, which has awarded dental grants to local families for over two decades. She has served on hospital boards, nonprofit leadership teams, youth athletics, and wellness initiatives, and she continues to advocate for access, education, and care across Northwestern Vermont.
